Photo Editing Tutorial 2 : Color and Black and White
In this, the second series of photo editing posts, we will take an image created in the last series of a hand on a beach holding an apple. Then we will make the whole image black and white except for the apple. Our before and after photos look like this.
This is a style used by a lot of photographers for wedding photos, where the bride is in black and white but her bouquet is still in color.
Basic techniques are used to create this effect. Before continuing, I recommend you go through the last series of tutorials before continuing.
Next week I will show you how to get the effect above using layers. This is just one of the ways to get the same effect.
